SAT REASONING TEST GRADES 11, 12
The SAT is a widely accepted college entrance exam. The exam is designed to measure the skills and knowledge acquired in high school, along with those needed to succeed in college. Exam components consist of critical reading, writing and language, mathematics, and an optional essay section. With the adoption of the SAT as the state assessment for literacy and mathematics, all juniors are provided the opportunity to take the SAT free of charge. Juniors and seniors may seek additional opportunities to take the SAT. West Hartford is a regular SAT test center and hosts the exam multiple times throughout the year. Please see your school counselor for further details and assistance with individual planning.
