PSAT 8/9 (Grade 9, mandatory), PSAT (Grade 10, mandatory), and PSAT/NMSQT  (Grade 11, optional)

This preliminary version of the SAT is given to Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors annually in October. These results are powerful tools for promoting college readiness and college planning and are used as a resource in the student course planning process. Junior test results are also used in the selection of Merit Scholars Finalists and Commended students in the scholarship program. All grade 9 and 10 students are provided the opportunity to participate in the PSAT at no charge to the student.
